Shipping
We normally ship to Malaysia only. If you are in Singapore and wish to purchase our cigars, it is at your own risk. Please email us at thecigarshack@gmail.com.
We will not ship any cigars until your payment has cleared into our account. Once payment has cleared we will ship by the next working day. Although we will make every effort to ship on the same working day for payments that clear by 12.00 am (11 am on Mondays), this cannot be guaranteed if we have a large volume of orders.
We will ship once we receive evidence of banking-in for cash payments. Please send us a scan or photo of your ATM receipt or counter receipt or a screenshot or pdf of your online banking transaction to thecigarshack@gmail.com or WhatsApp to 016 668 1820.
We ship using PosLaju, the National Carrier. We email all customers their PosLaju tracking number after shipping.
Shipping is a flat rate of RM15 within Malaysia. Orders over RM240 are shipped free of charge.
All cigars are securely packaged and enclosed in airtight containers and/or airtight Ziploc bags.
All cigars have been stored at 67-69% RH at a temperature of 20-22 deg C for at least a week before being offered for sale, so are therefore shipped in ready-to-smoke condition. However, if you are located in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Labuan or remote areas of Sarawak your cigars will travel by air. This means they will be subject to changes in air pressure and temperature for which no amount of careful packaging can compensate. Therefore, we recommend you rest your cigars for at least a week before smoking them. If you are located in or near a major town or city in Sarawak your cigars will travel by road. They may still be subject to some shaking and slight temperature variations so we recommend you rest your cigars for at least 48 hours before smoking them.
